Abstract: Strategies, tools and tactics for making organic chemistry seem interesting, relevant and understandable will be discussed. A multi-faceted approach that I have used for engaging students in organic chemistry will briefly review selected features of chemical pedagogy ranging from in-class to supplementary activities. The interplay of lecture, workshops, and laboratory in making conceptual connections will be explored
