Symposium Title: The Science Writing Heuristic in Laboratory Instruction
Descrption: The Science Writing Heuristic is a pedagogical process incorporating collaborative inquiry activities, cooperative negotiation of conceptual understanding, and individual writing and reflection within the context of laboratory inquiry. Each component is equally as important as the next in successfully achieving the intended goals and outcomes of the process. This symposium serves as a forum for presentations on the development, implementation, and assessment of the use of the SWH at all levels of science education.
