Descrption: Science Education for New Civic Engagement and Responsibilities (SENCER) began with the support of the NSF in 2001. At Colleges and Universities across the United States, this program continues in developing a community of learners and scholars who demonstrate the connection between science and civic engagement. Come learn how the application of SENCER goals and ideals impacts student retention by learning across the curriculum and engaging them beyond the classroom.
